At Coastal Wave Elite, we’re proud to offer tumbling classes for all levels, from beginner to advanced! Tumbling focuses on floor and trampoline skills, while also building strength, flexibility, and coordination. It’s the perfect choice for athletes who love flips but prefer not to engage in full gymnastics training. These 1-hour weekly sessions are great for cheerleaders working on their tumbling skills or anyone looking to enhance their abilities. Tumbling

Ages 3-5

Our Pre-School Tumbling class is a lively and engaging session designed for beginners, children ages 3-5, focusing on introducing basic tumbling skills in a fun and playful environment. Young participants will learn foundational movements like rolls, balance exercises, and simple jumps, all while improving their coordination, flexibility, and motor skills. Ages 5+

Our handspring-specific tumbling class is dedicated to perfecting the front and back handspring techniques, with a focus on achieving optimal form and power. Athletes will engage in targeted drills designed to enhance their speed, strength, and body alignment during the handspring. The class also includes exercises to improve the transition between skills, ensuring a smooth and powerful execution. Our tucks and layouts specific tumbling class concentrates on perfecting both front and back tucks, as well as layout skills, to achieve peak performance and control. Athletes will work on refining their technique to maximize height, rotation, and smoothness in these advanced skills. The class emphasizes drills that enhance body positioning, air awareness, and landing precision. With focused coaching, athletes receive individualized feedback to address specific challenges and improve their execution. This class is ideal for gymnasts and tumblers looking to elevate their tumbling routines by mastering these high-impact elements.

Our Beginner Tumbling class is designed to build a strong foundation in essential tumbling skills, including handstands, front and back rolls, cartwheels, round-offs, and front and back walkovers.
